Induction for Newly Qualified Teachers in Devon Schools
Devon Local Authority acting as the ‘Appropriate Body’, supports the induction programme for NQTs and monitors their progress throughout the first year of teaching.
Providing on-going training, monitoring and evaluation of the programme and giving advice and guidance to Newly Qualified Teachers and in-school Tutors, the Local Authority aims to ensure that the induction process is effective, fair and accurate.
