Active Playtimes"We have been using Active Playtimes as part of our active lunchtime programme. We teach the games on the cards to our pupils every term in the form of a whole school play development afternoon, and since its introduction we have seen an increase in attendance within the school and a reduction of behavioural incidents. As a school we feel the programme has been very successful, and the LEA agree."

What the children in Y8 say from the Southend School Sports Partnership - I feel alert, yeah I really like it - It was good because we do different movements and I like the movements - I like it because it makes you more fit and it's fun as well.
"I have used it all day to plan and prepare for next term's PSHE/Seals. Have been really impressed with the links to Every Child Matters as it gives us a cohesive approach to children's well being and development. It stops that feeling of being overburdened. It makes sense and will play an important part addressing Ofsted criteria. The format is great, easy on the eye colours, friendly font. Acting Deputy Head, Buckfastleigh Primary
